A grant for our Conservation work

We're delighted to have been supported over the last year by a grant from the AIM Pilgrim Trust Collections Care Scheme. This has enabled us to have a professional audit of the way in which we conserve our collection, so that we can make a plan for doing what was recommended - and more. Great support from the Association of Independent Museums, and from the Pilgrim Trust! We thank them very much.

This may sound a bit dull, even trivial - it isn't. A small museum such as ours needs to pay careful attention to what we hold on trust, but we don't usually have access to the right level of expertise. This grant has given us that, and the audit has provided signposts for work which will last us for some time. Our thanks to Spencer and Fry for their work, and to AIM and the Pilgrim Trust for enabling it.
