Local History in summer 2026

A lot goes on to present the local story of our area.

Our friends at Abbots Langley Local History Society appear at, and record, a number of local shows. They recently arranged for their copy of the Tithe Map of 1840 to be on public show, and hosted a fine 'archives day' at which local history groups, including of course Three Rivers Museum, featured.

You can see their video capture of these and other local events here. This is an important way of making sure that what happens today can be remembered tomorrow - which is the point of local history.
